REFUND POLICY

1. General Policy

Students are advised to read this Refund Policy carefully before enrolling in any course.

Payment of fees constitutes acceptance of this policy.

2. Registration Fee

Registration, admission, counselling, processing, and administrative charges are non-refundable under all circumstances.

3. Course Fee Refund

Refund requests may be considered only under the following circumstances:

Before Batch Commencement

If cancellation is requested before the official commencement of classes:

• Administrative deductions may apply.
• Refunds are processed only after approval by the Institute.

After Batch Commencement

Once classes have commenced:

• Fees are generally non-refundable.
• No refund shall be granted for:
  • Change of mind
  • Personal reasons
  • Relocation
  • Lack of attendance
  • Medical reasons (unless specifically approved)
  • Academic dissatisfaction after attending classes

4. Study Material

If printed books, notes, kits, or learning materials have been issued:

• Their value may be deducted from any approved refund.
• Digital materials already accessed are non-refundable.

5. Scholarships

Scholarship concessions cannot be converted into cash refunds.

6. Transfer of Admission

The Institute may, at its sole discretion, allow:

• Batch transfer
• Course transfer

Subject to availability and applicable fees.

7. Payment Gateway Charges

Convenience charges, bank charges, payment gateway fees, and transaction fees are non-refundable.

8. Duplicate Payments

Duplicate or excess payments made by mistake shall be refunded after verification.

9. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are generally processed within 15–30 working days through the original payment method or bank transfer.

10. Institute Cancellation

If the Institute cancels a course before commencement due to insufficient enrolment or operational reasons, students may receive:

• Full refund of tuition fees paid; or
• Transfer to another batch.

11. Force Majeure

No refund shall be payable for interruptions caused by events beyond the Institute's reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, strikes, or technical failures.

12. Disputes

All refund-related decisions of AKASH IMS UNISON INSTITUTE shall be subject to applicable law and the jurisdiction specified in the Terms of Service.
